 The Spiritual Toolkit provides various options to encourage our spiritual growth during Lent 09. Each of the 9 courses lasts for 6 weeks, beginning on the 25th Feb in Holy Trinity Church.

The courses will all be held within Holy Trinity Church, the CMI or Sunningdale Baptist Church and will start with a time of worship and prayer all together before breaking into our groups.

With different courses, there is something for everyone, whether you’re asking questions about faith, beginning your journey or somewhere along the road.

We are very excited to be able to offer such a varied programme, led by a talented group of local leaders including New Testament Scholar, Rev.  Dr Darryl Hannah, priest of All Saints, Ascot who will be leading the Through Peasants Eyes course.

Courses:

Start! A chance to ask any questions as we consider the journey of faith using a DVD based course.

Bible Basics: An introduction about how to read the bible, focused on a single book.

Deep Theology: Exploring some of the deeper questions of theology and faith using resources from St Paul’s theological college.

Through Peasants Eyes: A New Testament scholar and local priest looks afresh at Lukes parables through the eyes of a Middle Eastern peasant.

Spiritual Disciplines: Discover and Explore some of the treasures of Christian spiritual discipline including prayer, fasting, and solitude.

Time Out: A quiet space to pray, be prayed for and experience Gods presence.

Faith and Film: Encountering God through film and discussion.

Faith and Work: Does faith have a role in the workplace? Christian work consultant Mark Greene explores some of the issues.

Faith and family: Sessions on relationships, marriage, parenting and money management from a Christian  perspective.
