Paul Jackson
Paul has been the organist and choirmaser at Holy Trinity Church since 1991. He is also an experienced singer with many choirs large and small and he completed the Association of British Choral Directors Choral Directing Diploma in 2007.
The choir at Holy Trinity Church has around 20 singers and usually sings at the 9.30am Sunday service and evensong on the first Sunday of the month. At joint services, especially at Christmas and Easter services the choir also join with the church music group, when Paul may direct the music or join the percussion section by playing the glockenspiel!
Under Paul's leadership, the choir also raise money for charity by taking part in occasional concerts and the choir also enjoy a musical day out to sing at an Abbey or Cathedral once a year.
Paul always enjoys meeting with couples planning their wedding at Holy Trinity, helping them to chose the right songs and music for their important day. In fact, he has first hand experience as he met his wife Jeni as a singer in the choir and they married in Holy Trinity in 2002!
Paul and Jeni live in Winkfield Row with their young daughter, Charlotte who has already been known to make an occasional impromptu contribution to the music when she comes to church!
