Originally from Hull in East Yorkshire where some of his family still live, David has studied both Law and Theology. He has worked as a kitchen boy in a Swiss Ski Hotel, and as a waiter in a coffee bar. He has had parish jobs in Kingston upon Thames and Tolworth, Surbiton before coming to Sunningdale in 1998.

David is vice Chair of the Governing Body at Holy Trinity CE Primary School, where he and the staff team take regular Wednesday assemblies. He is the New Wine Network leader for Berkshire and fulfills a chaplaincy role at Waitrose, Sunningdale and Ascot Racecourse.

Married to Kathryn (also a Lawyer), David has three children: Zoe, Tim and Josh. Zoe is at university and the boys are at Secondary school locally. When not working, David enjoys walking in the park, reading, musical theatre and film.
